The Ottawa Muslim Cemetery (OMC) has served as a vital part of our community, offering a final resting place in accordance with Islamic traditions. With Phase One now fully occupied—providing space for approximately 5,000 graves—we are focused on expanding the cemetery to meet the needs of future generations.
Phase Two of the cemetery officially opened in January 2024. This phase adds 4,500 new burial spaces to support our growing community. In just the first year, over 300 burials have taken place.
