The Ottawa Muslim Cemetery is a non-profit organisation. There are no shareholders, no commercial motives. Every dollar donated goes directly to maintaining and expanding this sacred space for the benefit of Ottawa’s Muslim community.
At the current rate of demand, available burial lots will be exhausted within years. With an increasing and aging Muslim population and the lasting impact of COVID-19, the urgency has never been greater.
At the current rate of burials, all remaining lots will be filled in the coming years. Phase III must begin now to meet future demand.
